Hi all! I hope everyone is having a great week and pushing towards your goals! I can't believe we are already 1/4 of the way through the year. WOW! So, time to review my goals I had set at the beginning of the year.
First Quarter Goals:
Get house organized (complete ABFOL 14 week challenge)
I was doing well the first couple of weeks, but fell off. I am still working hard on maintaining the house better.
Complete Hot Chocolate 15k
Pay for Huskies tickets with cash (no credit card charge)
Pay off my credit card and half of LOC
(paid mine off but had some financial things come up... LOC is now maxed out)
Strive to meet 10k steps 5x/week
Failed at this one
Second Quarter Goals:
Pay off remaining LOC and his credit card - REVISION: Pay off 1/2 of LOC
Finally run the Seahawks 12k without incident - Will find out in 3 weeks!
Get weight below 140lbs - REVISION: Get weight below 145lbs
Keep house organized
Begin kettlebell training after surgery
My goals this month are pretty basic. I'm so close to my surgery date so I'm going to push hard until then. I am going to be perfect with my eating and make sure to get my workouts in. That is easy to do for 2.5 weeks. Hopefully I won't have much of an appetite during recovery, as I will likely be spending a lot of time in bed or on the couch. I would love to be back to working out within 10 days of the procedure, but I'll have to talk to the doc to see what he says.
I think I need to change my FitBit goals. Yes, I can get in 10k steps a day if I focus on that and that alone, but it's not maintainable at this point when some days I work an 11 hour day and have to log 3+ miles when I get home. I think if I drop it down I will be more motivated to go for a short walk with the dog in the evening to make my steps. I am going to start working toward 5000 steps a day and slowly increase back to 10k. I get in 10k steps 1-2 times a week, but I'd like to have a streak of some sort!
Anyhow... it is really nice outside today so I am going to take a quick walk before lunch...
