Semester is almost over

Thursday, April 02, 2015

I know I haven't been here for a long time. As I had written previously, I have started school in January. Since I plan on getting my Bachelor's In engineering of Information Technology and I don't intend for it to take forever, I took 2 classes this semester. That meant going to school 4 nights a week on top of working 5 days a week.

My schedule was like this:
Monday and Tuesday:
- 5:30 get up
- 6:05 get out of the house
- 8:00 start the workday
-16:00 end of workday
- between 16:00 to 18:00 : homework, dinner and get to class
- from 18:00 to 21:15 : class
- 21:15 take the long route home
- 22:45 : arrive home
- 23:00 : go to bed.
Wednesday :
- 5:30 to 16:00 : same as other days
- 16:00 to 17:40 : get home
- 17:40 to 20:00 : dinner, Talk my husband and daughter
- 20:00 go to ged.
Thursday & Friday :
- 5:30 to 20:00 : same as Monday
- 20:00 take the long route home
- 21:30 arrive home
- 22:00 go to bed.

Saturday & sunday are spent doing homework, study, clean the house, do laundry etc. I didn't get to shovel much this winter. I love to shovel but never had the time for it. Next winter I will have to hire someone to do it for me!

Simply said, I didn't have much of a life and had no time to come here and I have had the chance to know what sleep deprivation feels like. It is almost over now. I have one paper to present tonight with my team then I will have 1 exam on the 13th and one on the 22nd. so far it looks like I may manage to get either an A or an A+ in both of my classes (if I don't mess up the finals). I am really happy about it.

It is a crazy life, but I am enjoying school so much! And, I have not gained nor lost any weight. Considering what I ate during that time it is surprising. I guess all the walks have made the difference.

My next semester starts April 27th. I took only one class this time to have a chance to enjoy my pool and my family this summer. I should go back to 2 classes in the fall.

So that pretty much sums up what I have been up to! hope you are all well

Always you amaze me with your unstoppable drive to reach the goals you have set out to reach. A or possibly an A+ - What can I say ....
    You kick arse! emoticon
As for not losing but also NOT gaining during this very hectic work and time schedule in you life, I would call that magnificently maintaining (A+) one part of your life until you have TIME to address it with the same kind of drive and determination you are spending now on other matters that demand all that you can give of yourself.

Time manager extraordinaire - that is who you are and how you are choosing to run your life right now, since that is exactly what is demanded of you IF you are to win the prize so close at hand. And, as all know, that WIN is already in the bag for you. Well done my beautiful friend! I admire you more than words can say!

OH! And welcome back .... anytime you get a chance to drop by. And thanks for the laptop - See, it's working! emoticon
