3 months in, feeling successful

I weighed myself for the first time on 3-31-2015, after starting with this program Jan 1. I am down 7 pounds in 3 months and I am very happy with those results. I wanted to wait to weigh myself until I had really established some new good habits. my goal was just to lose 1 pound a month and I more than doubled that. I have not been less than 140 for the last 2 years.
I am eating better, rarely going out for lunch or fast food, making better choices and eating smaller portions when I do go out.
I have also tried following the suggested mealplan that spark people has set up for me when I am home. I find I have better success when I do it their way, instead of mine, as I think they give me a better balance than I would choose for myself.
Still struggling with exercise due to some arthritis issues and injuries, but I am staying active with farm chores and getting back in the garden for spring clean up, etc.
Still struggling with the water drinking too, but definitely improved over what I was doing before. Will keep on working on those new good habits!

    Awesome! Congratulations on the weight loss!! I'm doing the happy dance for ya!! (gotta get those steps in :D) Great job taking the baby steps to make good habits too! As for the exercise...just doing whatever you can helps. I do chair exercises when I'm having knee pain! emoticon emoticon emoticon
