Caffeine? Heck No!

MOSTLY... Yes, I did it. I am on decaf coffee except some on the weekend with Joe, but here's the kicker... I GAVE UP SODAS! And still haven't lost a damn pound. But how can I when people keep sticking their hands in my spine & moving it around. And I refuse to step on the scale again until Friday. I'm trying not to be OCD, and it hurts to stand straight and still. But that's my "good vibe" share of the day. Joe will get me a Starbucks or full caffeine coffee on the weekend but only one cup, and a soda is very rare & now treated as a "treat". I still hope the soda cutout pays off. I look longingly at the sofa fridge daily. But I treat it like an ex-boyfriend and stand a little taller, flip my hair over my shoulder & keep on walking (yeah I shake my booty a little more as I walk away too. LOL!!)     The only soda I drink is sparkling water... or Mt Dew if I am really tired and have to drive. LOL

    If you have maintained your weight while lying still for months and pumped full of pharmaceuticals... you're doing GREAT!!!

    Soda is muy malo. All that sugar plus the acid is real bad for your gorgeous smile (teeth) and bones (osteoporosis.) And the empty calories.

    I used to have the occasional diet soda, but have just recently cut that out because of the aspartame and other chemicals and migraines I've had. I love me some seltzer or unsweetened tea, though. Or even tea with honey, measured and tracked.

    Being on antibiotics & not being able to drink my Crown Royal might have helped me quit drinking sodas!! BAHAHAHAHA!! emoticon

    Good plan to stop the soda. I stopped all sugared soda long ago and hardly ever drink diet soda. I do like soda water with lime. emoticon

    I cut out all soda on March 1st. I also cut out as much sugar as I could. That is very helpful also. I try to walk everyday too. My Coke had 49grams of sugar in one can...OMG I can't believe I drank that for over 50 years.
    I have lost 6 pounds this month. I know it will work for you too. Don't drink the soda. It just isn't worth how sluggish it makes you feel. Good Luck! emoticon
