I had lost 80 pounds this time around. Now, I've gained 10 pounds back. I have lost major amounts of weight in the past and have gained them back. What do I need to do to make this a permanent life style change?

1. I need to make exercise a normal part of my life. I know that my fibromyalgia is much better when I'm walking alot.

2 I need to concentrate on healthy foods, not low calorie, not low fat, just good healthy food and preparation methods that make me chose to eat that way 95% of the time.

I don't want to spend the rest of my life needing to focus on my eating and exercising. How do I make it a habit? That's the real question that I need to answer for myself.

    I hear ya, and I'm in the same boat. Roller coaster of weight loss, self-sabotage, and losing and gaining the same pounds over and over again. I was actually thinking on this the last week, and wrote my thoughts as my new intro on my page. Why do I keep sabotaging my own best efforts?

    I am soul searching with the same question!

    Kudos to you for realizing it and addressing it at 10 pounds gained. I played ostrich with my head in the sand and gained my weight all back.
