This red lentil dal is delicious! The prep is relatively simple, as dals go. I made this double batch in my InstantPot (IP). It is so great to have a "smart" pressure cooker such as the IP to give me assurance that pressure cooking even tiny lentils will be safe and successful.
We eat dals all the time, but this has become my husband's personal favorite! There is no free recipe on the Internet, but The New Fast Food is such a terrific cookbook, it is a good (and small) investment in good eating.
