Hola from the depths of self loathing (and other bedtime stories)

Hello, all

For anyone who's reading this, welcome to my blog of randomness and hopefulness. This has been a good week. Since last Thursday, I have gone to the gym every single day, save for the day that I stayed home but ran 2.5 miles in my neighborhood. I think that's a bomb-ass accomplishment. I'm motivated to keep trying.

My attempt at Nursing school has been hands-down the hardest thing I have ever done, and Oregon is one of the most competitive places to do it. At Portland Community College, over 800 people apply for 80 spots. I submitted an application this year because it was required of my scholarship, but I knew I wasn't going to get in. I have a B in one of my prerequisites. Yup. A B kept me out of Nursing school, guys.......

But on the health front, the whole point of this blog, is to share where i'm at, and what-have-you...I took some "before" pictures..

My computers being weird so Ill post the others in a day or so....

Anyhoo, keep on truckin and from where i'm coming from today....I feel like, "you live and learn"

Obviously my "maintaining" strategy leaves something to be desired, so I'm gonna try something different. I keep on working, because I refuse to give up. I will be a healthy role model for my son, my husband, my family, even if it kills me...but my guess is it won't because I am exercising.

Go Blazers!
