So I am back on sparkpeople and it feels good. I look forward to logging in daily and recording my food intake and fitness. It motivates me to workout daily to see my fitness minutes increase. I have a few trips this summer and I want to look and feel great. I recently got married and felt beautiful on my wedding day and got down to my lowest weight yet since 2003, 155 lbs. Now I will admit I wasn't doing it the healthiest way (wasn't eating much) but it worked for me at the time and I will always look back and be proud of my wedding pictures (here are a couple pics from the wedding). I heard newlyweds pick up weight soon after marriage, and I do not want that happening to me. So, I know sparkpeople will help motivate me to lose weight and keep it off. Back in 2010 I lost a lot of weight from sparkpeople and I'm proud to say that I have maintained for the most part. Right now I weigh 169lbs and my goal weight is 150. I know at 5'4 I really should aim for lower, but I love being curvy and I've never had the desire to be really skinny. I just want to look and feel good and have some abs lol. So I'm excited to start this new journey and look forward to making some more sparkfriends! Have a good day sparkpeople!
Thanks for the friend add :) Your wedding pics are gorgeous!!! And I think it's great that you want to keep some curves - I personally do not see the appeal of stick thin! Granted, if I lost the weight and ever got there, I might not complain... but seriously, I think curves are much more appealing! Either way, I'm glad you're back on Spark to keep track of your weight. Have a great day! 1893 days ago
