Haven't been extremely active on Spark People since the end of the winter challenge, but have been working on things at home.

I think I have a good routine down for my meds. I take way more than I would like, but my husband has been very good about pointing out that with the pain controlled, I can focus on my yoga and physical therapy. As I get in better shape, hopefully I can wean off some of the medications.

The yoga is going well. I love Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. I purchased her 30 days of yoga because sometimes my home internet can be iffy and I can't always watch on line. I can only do a few days at a time right now due to my hips, but I'll get there. And I feel good where I am now.

Doesn't hurt that it is really nice out right now. So I'm looking forward to getting out in my garden as soon as the water receeds enough. My son also pointed out the other day that the weather is good enough that we can start taking our dog for a walk more often too. I need to figure where to fit that in.

I e-mailed a friend of mine who works with a school dietitian who has been thinking about retiring. I asked if she had heard anything. It isn't exactly what I want to do, right now I'm working in Informatics combining dietetic work and computers. But the commute would be so much less and I would have more time for me and my family. Right now I have about an hour commute each way, so two hours of my day is taken up with driving.

Looking forward to the Spring challenge. I'm making sure all my ducks are in a row for success.
