Fail to Plan? Plan to Fail!

Wednesday, March 25, 2015

Yesterday was a no plan day.....and while it could have ended up in a failure, I pulled though with some things and the end of the day, mainly housework, good eating, a recommitment to planning one's days and no alcohol!!

Today I am so far on the right track. Morning efficiencies with various things, including a workout and taking time to visit SP and add to my Accountability Blogging efforts.

Work out: 1st day with arms adding back in after OK by dr.

12 mins elliptical warm up - 150 cals burned

3x through the following with 30 seconds on and vary between 15 and 30 sec off between exercises and 45 seconds off between rounds:

kettle bell squats - 50 lb
reclined shoulder press - palms facing in - 10 lb
forward lunge 30 seconds each side - holding 2 kettle bells at 15 lbs
bicep curls - 12.5 lbs

front plank 2x 30 seconds
mountain climbers - SLOW with knees making it between arms, hands directly under shoulder - 2x 30 seconds
30 seconds on/off 3x through: 30lb kettle bell swings and skating jumps/arm swinging side to side - wide side to side jumps

these are all exercises I was taught at my former gym - knowing how to do them properly and how to progress properly is key!!!

I feel great - off to complete the remainder of my day according to my basic plan!
