Trying Food Prepping

So a big problem I have with staying healthy is of course what I'm eating. I have a hard time staying on my meal plan especially when I wait too long to eat. So this week I'm trying something new, food prepping!
Sunday I spent all afternoon cooking and placing in Tupperware all our meals and snacks for my husband and I. It was very tiring and my back hurt so bad afterwards, just from standing and chopping in the kitchen however, it was so much fun! I have to say I really enjoyed it and it's a good way to spend time and bond with my family members. I did buy quite a bit too much food, I have to freeze green beans, bell peppers, broccoli and mushrooms. I just thought I needed a lot more than I did.
Today, Monday I have to say I think food prepping is a pretty big deal! I really have enjoyed having my whole day at my figure tips all i need to do is heat and eat, and if I have to go out of the house I just take it with me! I am concered it might not all stay fresh until Friday but I did my best to package everything correctly! Plus my fridge was very aesthetically pleasing afterwards!
I kind of want to blog about this, this week because it's a completely new experience for me! If any of you guys have prepped an entire weeks worth of food I'd love to know any tips and tricks you've learned!
