Today is my normal rest day. It is built into my week. I am working from 8:30 to 9pm. I have an evening class that I am teaching on Tuesday on top of normal 8 hour job. I did not work out this morning, and I am missing it. I can feel that I did not work out :(
Everyone needs a rest day to let the body relax after working it so hard. Even tho Tuesdays are my naturally built in rest days from exercise it is not a rest day overall.
Tomorrow I am planning to go back to the gym and try to work out on a stationary bike. I have been doing the elliptical because I have read that it mimics running without the impact. I cannot tell if it has been helping me as I slowly work my way through the c25K. I also need to start strength training again. I have enough weights to add to my bar now. I just need to find a good 15 minute or so video to help with that. I am lifting 10 pounds per hand right now with some repetitions.
I am hoping that come summer time I will be able to run 3 miles. Also, summer time is when I tend to backslide because it is so dang hot here in Texas. I am hoping that the Gym will help out with that :)
