Made it through spring break!
Monday, March 16, 2015
Spring break was, as always, a blast. We had gorgeous weather this year which is like the first time EVER, and everyone was on the mend from being sick instead of getting colds while we were there.
When I left home on Saturday morning I was 195.4 lbs and I hadn't pooped in about 3 days (sorry if TMI). We stopped at McDonalds and I at a Big Mac which always gets things moving, and by the next morning I was 193.4 lbs. I continued to eat well and Monday morning I was 192.6 lbs. I maintained that for a good portion of the week, but toward the end of the week I started gaining a big back (again due to the lack of pooping). We came home on Saturday and I weighed on Sunday at 194.5. So I am still down a pound from when I left, but not at my lowest. But I'll take it.
The trip was awesome. Jam-packed as always. Very little down time. We got to spend time with my grandparents and my cousin and her new little baby girl with the giant cheeks. Then we went to the indoor waterpark with my brother and his two girls. We don't get to spend a lot of time with him because he's always working but he got to take the day off and it was awesome. The kids just adore him because he's like a big kid. I got to see AMETHYSTD albeit only for about an hour on our last night there. But I'll take what I can get, and they are coming to see us in 2 weeks!
Eating was okay. I got the two things I always have to have when I'm there (a sub from Ginos (690 cals) and Chin's Asia Fresh) and still managed to do okay. I didn't do much deliberate exercise. We went to the zoo one day and I had Milo on my shoulders so that was a good workout. The waterpark was a great workout (tons of steps and flights of stairs for the slides!) Other nights I danced with Milo. Tuesday i didn't get my 10k steps, and I didn't get them the day we came home cause I had a huge migraine by the time we got out of the car for 7 hours. But otherwise I did okay.
Another great trip, 10 more weeks of school now til summer. We go to Ohio for a week next month. It's definitely flying by!
