Still Plugging Away at my Goals

I've added weight machines to my routine on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Mondays, Wednesdays and one weekend morning I run/jog anywhere from 3 to 5 miles.

I need to incorporate some planks in there on the days I run. I'm noticing changes in my legs and arms but not in my stomach. I realize the harder I work, the importance of eating clean. I've got a lot of work to do to get this layer of fat off of me. It is hard to not to be discouraged, but I do like the way I feel after I'm done with a good fitness center workout on the weight machines.

The saying "abs are made in the kitchen" is very true. I am going to try even harder to stay away from so much bread and white sugars and drink more water. It seems like not a whole lot of actual pounds are coming off, but I really don't want that to be my marker of success. Clothing sizes and fit will be my success marker.

I'm only about 2 months away from wedding season and I really want to be in good shape to handle the stress of the entire day. I am not going to get sidetracked now. The weather is breaking, I'll be able to get outside more and I really want to do some 5k's this summer.
