Though I usually do very well at my Sunday batch cooking this week not so much. Monday was horribly foggy and a white knuckle drive to work. Already stressed I ran through the cafeteria line for breakfast without even thinking of the choice I made...until I sat at my desk and looked at the sausage, cheese and egg ENGLISH MUFFIN...gasp...I had not bread of any kind since early January. I struggled with myself for more than five minutes then threw away the top of the muffin and ate the rest. No it didn't kill me but had I been prepared it would not have been something I had to think about. Lesson learned!
Work has also been very stressful for the last week and my blood sugars have shown that. I really didn't think stress could do that much, but yes it can!
