Well, after everyone asked about the warm yoga I thought I'd better give it its own blog! ...kinda... First I'm going to mention that I had an episode yesterday that is going to have me out of the game for a couple of days. I fainted. Out of no where, blood pressure plummeted and I lost consciousness for about 60 seconds. I went to the walk in clinic today and they ran some tests, I will follow up with my doc on Friday. Don't know what it was all about...
But now to to fun stuff! Warm yoga. I believe she said the room was about 90º and we focused mostly on back and hip stretches. It did NOTHING for the tightness in my calves. BUT, I did really enjoy the class. It is worth mentioning that I was very impressed with the instructor. I've gone to this place once before for hot yoga, but I'm not familiar with their different instructors. The heat was much more bearable, I hardly broke a sweat. All of the poses were on the floor, so it was just really easy and mostly focused on the breath. They have a "relax and heal" warm yoga class as well that is on my "To Do" list.
Anyway, I'm still a little foggy brained today so I'll keep this one short. But if I left anything out about the yoga class feel free to ask!
