Meet Reese's if you haven't already met him. He is our "rescue" chocolate lab. We got him one year ago today when he was 8 months old. We were his 6th home in 8 months. He had a really rough first year. When we got him, he wasn't house trained and was about 10 lbs underweight. He is really smart and we housed trained in just a couple of days. Shortly after we got him, he ate a rock and it was lodged in his intestines. He had to have emergency surgery which left him with a 6" scar. He sure has been a handful but he is very loving and sweet. We sent him to "boot camp" training and he did very well. He still gets into things but he is definitely a lot better. You have to remember that labs are pups for 2 years and he will be 2 on June 15. We are so glad he found us and that he is in his "Forever Home" with us and we do love him very much.
This is Reese's today:
