Really feeling it lately

Tuesday, March 03, 2015

As you may have known, I recently moved to Denver and I love it out here. What doesn't seem to love me lately is my waistline. I have totally fallen off the wagon. I've been indulging in the microbreweries, eating out often, and missing my training sessions, which has put some serious dampers on my hips and waist. It's also taken its toll on my emotional well-being.

I know I shouldn't feel so obsessed with what the scale says, but I don't even have to rely on that to be able to know when I am gaining weight. I feel it. In my face. In the way my clothes fit, in how I feel. It's horrible.

That said, I need a swift kick in the rear and a little more discipline and a lot less excusing of behavior that I wouldn't normally engage in. I need to get it together.

So, here you go princess. Your wake up call and Brit-brit come back. Vacation is over, settle in and get your shiiiiiiiiii together!

Peace and love all!

Jackie

emoticon to Denver! I hear you on "feeling" the weight coming on! It is certainly easy to fall off track here in Denver, what can I say we have awesome food and not to mention the microbreweries! But it is also a great place to get active we have tons of parks and hiking trails and tons of gyms everywhere! It will certainly be easier to get moving and get back into the groove once the weather warms up! Gosh I sound like an infomercial but I emoticon emoticon emoticon Denver!
