Looking back on February

It was a busy month for me. Doctor appointments for my daughter, still waiting on her EEG results, but I have a good feeling about it. Her episodes haven't really changed at all. She gets really bad when she gets excited, but that is not new for us. I hope to hear something soon. My grandmother has had some episodes with dizziness and her hernia. Supporting my mom has been the best help I can give. Mom has the task of taking her to all of her appointments and was right there with her when she went to the ER. I find helping Mom out with stuff at home is a blessing for her.
Lots of snow and cold days. I had fun sledding with my family. It reminds me of the fun days with my dad and brother as a kid. Flying down a hill makes me feel like I am 10 again.
I made my minutes goal and actually lost 5 pounds over the month. I feel good about that. I have a tiny journal that I keep in my purse so no matter where I am I can write down what I eat and what I weigh every week. I also write in my activity for the day, it really did help me out. I have done it before, but not made it a habit. Keeping it in my purse was a big help and it is a bright color so it can't get lost in there.
I am happy with my progress from last month and looking ahead for this month. I made a pact with my brother that we would lose 20 pounds before we went to the beach in May. The countdown begins!!!!!!
