Oh delinquent writings

Thursday, February 26, 2015

I'm so good at going on hiatus, I should be a travel agent! Anyways, lots of life changes that have kept me away.

Still plugging along with the dissertation (which I was putting in some serious footwork before the holidays!), I was interviewing for new jobs, I was doing the crossfit thing, the holidays, accepting a job and moved to Denver!

I never thought I was going to get out of Ohio. That place was never anything other than dark, cold, dreary and just when it starts to get nice again, the Ohio weather just turns on you! I know I am going to miss some of the scenery in fall, but who knows, maybe Colorado will surprise me. I'll tell you one thing, I never get sick of seeing the mountains, feeling the sunshine, and being inspired by all the fit people in this city.

Bruce made the move and he was brave and courageous....and well behaved (if you can believe it!) And, I didn't have to drug him or anything.

I have moments when I miss home and my parents (really, more than than the space of nothingness NE Ohio), but I am truly happy here in Colorado! I am excited to get back to busting out my doc work so I can really enjoy life!

Fitness out here in Colorado, above sea level is intense. I thought I was in shape and cardio fit, but this place really knocks you upside the head. I haven't experienced altitude sickness, but from what I have heard and seen, it's not good!

I have lots of stories to share, so I will have to get back on my blogging game. For now, I have to run :)

Peace and love,

Jackie
