Great vlog! emoticon The Girl Scouts need supporting! I like their cookies, but I probably can't eat them anymore. Now that I am allergic to dairy and eggs. I like to make no bake vegan cookies. They have a ton of sugar in them, though. I would like to figure out how to remove all of the sugar. I need to work on that. I'm not really the best cook. It's something I need to learn how to do. Today's lunch was some ramen noodles, minus the flavor pack, because that's got some meat flavoring in it. I used some brine from a can of chickpeas and peanut butter to make the sauce and added some Chinese 5 Spice to it and a lot of chili powder. It was good that way! I know, not the healthiest option, but I'm glad that I added the protein to it.

I like to make meals and freeze them also.
I had left over veggies from my roast and they were calling my name last night, so I added ground turkey and made a soup.
Hubby liked it. I have to admit i added salsa.
But I even freeze the fruits and veggies already portioned out so i just grab and eat.
I cant wait to make the refridgerator bran muffins. Has anyone made them yet?

Great blog! I loved your energy. I like to cook sometimes! emoticon

Right now salads are sounding really good. I just have to get what I need to make them and then make them and not let the ingredients rot in the fridge.

Ha, I remember this time of year with the selling of treats, only with me it was with my son and Cub Scouts. The boys don't sell cookies, obviously...they used to sell chocolate candy bars of different types and flavored popcorn. Sweet stuff I can usually pass up easily, it's the salty/savory ones that are my downfall. My son was the same way as me when he was little, and still loves the salty/savory items.

Needless to say, we bought most of his popcorn stuff up so he never had to sell much to outside customers...we kept the selling "in house". LOL

Good job on the martial arts! I don't typically eat sweets. My downfall is salty foods. Now if the Girl Scouts sold chips....

I'm not much of a cook but I did just purchase a crockpot and two Fix It and Forget It cookbooks so I may be getting back to you with some yummy low fat slow cooker meals.

    Have a great day! emoticon

Soup of the Day: Salmon Chowder (but not like it would be at a restaurant). It's a vegetable soup with salmon. It has just a bit of flour to make it creamier, but no dairy at all.

Last year, I did a community supported agriculture program, where I bought a box of locally grown veggies per week for about 6 months. It was way more than I could eat, so I made soup and froze it. Today I needed something healthy and quick, so I turned to the freezer on my lunch break. There was salmon chowder just waiting to be enjoyed. Boy was it good!

    Great Vlog!
My hubby bought his yearly Girl Scout Cookies, but this year he did not buy my favorites. Therefore, we contributed to a good cause, but I was not tempted to eat a whole box.
