Hey guys! Happy Wednesday!
We are blessedly halfway through the week!
I closed at work today and that went by pretty smoothly, save for one lady who was quite angry with me over a game of phone tag (sorry, lady!) but at least we got it sorted out and she was pleasant enough by the end. Customer service, man.
But that wasn't the sweatiest part of my day! I resolved to work out after I got home, so my mom went with me up to the Y! We tried a new machine (and didn't like it, haha).
After that, I got on a bike that has a video game built into it, sort of. You get to look at all these silly courses and it's actually pretty high tech and funny! But MAN, I underestimated how much of a workout that could be! I was huffing and puffing halfway through the mile, haha. But I managed it! My mom had already moved on to the treadmill so I joined her after that.
Aaaand I accidentally set it to the 'rolling hills' program.
Guys, I don't usually do the built-in programs for treadmills, but I just went with it! The incline went from 0 to 2, then up to 4, then back to 2, then up to 6! And repeated. I was red as a tomato by the time I finished my mile there! What a workout!
So that was my cardio for the day. Altogether around 35 minutes, with a 2 minute cooldown at the end. Whew!
Now we're gonna have some steak and salad, which I am HUNGRY for!
