Whole 30 Round #2 Days 1-7

Alright, alright, alright! Week one is in the bag! Well... with the exception of dinner tonight.

I am already hating it, as expected, but I am feeling the benefits right away. Last time it took me more time to feel differently. This time, I am already sleeping harder, having more energy, and feeling a bit like my stomach is flatter. Good things so far!

I want a hot fudge brownie sundae like you would not believe, and my roommate keeps randomly saying "mmm ice creammmm," so I know she is struggling too, but week one is now done and over. I read a few blogs, or maybe instagram posts, or something that a lot of people struggle more with Round #2 than round #1. So far I am happy to report that is not the case with me. I think I just know what to snack on, or know how to just drink more water to kick a craving this time around.

For anyone else who may be giving Whole30 a shot, I definitely encourage you to look on Instagram. It is my saving grace some days. It helps me think of a new recipe, or see how others have benefited, lost weight, etc.

Other than that, I rode my bike to work twice this week- total of 2 hrs of cardio- and went to the gym twice-30mins each. My dog is throwing a fit right now and wanting to go out, so since its a gorgeous 80 degree day, I think I'm going to lace up my sneakers and take her on a 2 miles walk.

I really hope all this work reflects in my numbers. 23 days to go!
