Shoveled 7 inches of snow for an hour. Washed my car using snow and a towel. Cooked a modified Betty Crocker Oatmeal drop cookies recipe from the 1950's.

On Tuesday around 1am I will begin a 600 mile trip to Michigan to see my girlfriend and to help her the first week of her surgery to remove a gangliated cyst from her wrist.

I plan to be in bed by 9:30.
Today is a very good day

Sweet dreams my friends, sleep well and God bless

After doing all that, you could handle a few cookies...and the recipe sounds delicious! emoticon

P.S. I haven't forgotten about your last recipe. DD made a change in menu plans and wanted to try her hand at making a vegetable lasagne and lentil burgers..both of which turned out emoticon but took more time than expected.

Sending prayers to your girlfriend for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.

Love those oldie but goodie recipe books. . . . the cookies sounds like a great, healthy alternative to anything found on the shelf.

Hope the trip goes well for you and that your girlfriend's surgery is successful.

    Keep smilin'
