GOOD NEWS! More prayers please!!!

Thursday, February 19, 2015

News on little Griffin. Please continue to pray for him and his family, also if you have prayer chains, please add the family to them. Thank you.....

Alright good news and then more good news....sound GOOD?! READY?! Drumroll please.....the results from yesterdays PET scan came back CLEAR!!! Can we hear an AMEN?! We were all moved to tears, obviously! As the doctor was preparing to deliver the news, as you can imagine we all held our breathe. As she said it was clear we all broke into tears...I literally fell over in sobs of joy and then got up and high fived her! Yay!!!

More good news...are you ready? Griffin was so incredibly brave, he didn't cry, he trusted his nurses and came through today's INVASIVE procedures like a champ!!! He had his bone marrow biopsy done and had his port cath placed in his chest. Both areas are extremely sore right now and we anticipate the same soreness tomorrow. The lump in his chest is quite large, he actually required a double power port, which basically means there are 2 ports in his chest, side by side. The double is needed because of his chemo cocktail that is required to fight Ewing Sarcoma. Sometimes 2 meds will be administered at the same time that are not compatible so they each need their own port. We are so thankful that the problematic IV is gone! We just need to ease Griff into what this thing is protruding from his chest! We will get the results of the bone marrow biopsy hopefully on FRIDAY. Please, again, be in prayer for NO CANCER in the marrow or bone! This is critical.

The love, support and encouragement that people have shown our boy is so beautiful. Bless your hearts!

Gods grace is the midst of what was his most aggressive, procedure wise, days we experienced JOY and peace. So incredibly thankful!

We will wait patiently for our answers with NO FEAR!!!

Aye, can-do prayers are one of my favorites. I love being able to pray "intelligently". It is about the only time I can claim intelligence. hahaha

(I came, I saw, I'll stick with it)

Keep on fearing not anyone or anything, excepting only having awesome holy fear of our great God Almighty. It's hard to do consistently, but then again who said faith was the easy road. Faith is not believing something, it is trusting God.

I'm glad I dropped by. The peace of Christ to you and yours.
