reflections on week 2 mindfulness

Well, it's really week 2.5, but who's counting? emoticon

I do have to remind myself at times when I'm eating to slow down, chew thoroughly, enjoy the flavors and textures, put my fork (or spoon) down between bites. But I also feel I'm appreciating my meals more, enjoying the good food I prepare, or that is prepared for me (Larry does the evening meal most nights) as well as the occasional indulgence! It's so easy to get distracted, and I find it's nice to make an effort to focus on one thing, whether it's eating, walking, working, working out.
