And so it goes . . .

The allergist was pleased today and the asthma seems to be under control for now - with medication. The inhalant he prescribed - $203.00! YUCKO!
Tomorrow morning I go for a lung CT scan. There's something in my right lung that concerned my doctor in xrays from December when I had either pneumonia or a severe asthma attack (what the allergist believes it was). I know my right lung was collapsed in the accident I was in many years ago and it was re-inflated with a tube inserted from my right side. She (my doctor) agrees that what she is seeing may well be scarring from that, but she wants to be sure. In the afternoon, I go to get my new implant tooth. I also need to try to get to church in the morning before I go for the CT scan to get ashes for Ash Wednesday.
They are predicting more snow for the coming weekend - another 6 to 8 inches. We had about 6 inches yesterday - which ain't much compared to the northeast, but it was heavy, wet spring type snow as it was about 30 degrees farenheit and I got a great workout clearing snow for myself and a few neighbors. I live on a corner and had to re-do the sidewalk on the long side again this morning due to all the slop that flew up from cars driving by! Not fun. At least I know I'll get exercise this weekend with snow shovel in hand.
Here's hoping my CT scan brings nothing icky in the way of news. I hope that very expensive inhaler does the trick to keep my breathing and sleeping going properly. Now I have to decide what to give up for Lent!
