Oh dear, those midwinter pounds are sneaking on again! I'm finding it harder to button my snow pants, which is SUCH a bummer! Could impede my getting outside and using my snowshoes with all this snow! (Worst case, I could wear my husband's.)
I'm getting a little frustrated with myself as I know what I need to do to achieve my weight loss goals, and every time I start making progress I end up quitting and being back to my heaviest weight. Let's be honest, I'm unhappy at this weight. My feet hurt more, my back hurts more, my body isn't meant to carry around these extra pounds all the time. And yet, I don't do what I need to do.
This week I'm starting with little changes. I have two goals to accomplish this week (and no, I don't care that today is Thursday. Thursday can be the start of my exercise weeks from now on):
Goal 1: Eat a healthy breakfast. Or any breakfast - something more than just coffee in the mornings.
Goal 2: Stop buying candy. If I don't buy it, I won't eat it. And for whatever reason I am CRAVING sweet things every evening. I don't need them. And when I don't find them in the house, I don't die. Life moves on, so hopefully the less I find sweet things, the less I will need them.
I started today with some oatmeal for breakfast. Not my favorite, but it actually hit the spot today!
