Lowering simple carbs and eliminating sugary foods / drinks.

This is the mission I am on right now. My goal is to eliminate sugary foods / drinks completely (soda, juice, alcohol, candy, cakes, cookies, ice creams, pies, puddings, donuts, sugar-coated foods, and all similar foods.) Of that list, I am most prone to soda, candy, cake and cookies. I like my chocolate, but I am completely giving it up for at least 10 days in order to improve insulin sensitivity. Additionally, I am limiting all simple carb foods to 2500 cal over the 10 day period, an ave of 250 cal per day. These simple carb foods include: pasta, rice, bread, cereal, white potatoes, toritillas, tortilla chips, potato chips, polenta. quinoa, cous cous, oatmeal, and all similar foods. Of the list, I am most prone to pasta and cereal. I am following those guidelines for 10+ days. At the end of 10 days, I will evaluate: adherence, weight, % body fat, and measurements. After the 10 days are up, I will move to a more moderate and sustainable plan that will still encourage lower simple carb habits. I do not eat meat, so I can not fall back on eating a bunch of meat, as many people seeking to lower carbs and sugars do.

So far:
Day 1, 0 sugar, 100 simple carbs, shaky
2, 0, 150, shaky
3, 0, 300, normal
4, 0, 350 normal
5, ... today
