The program I am on is getting hard to stick to. When I am home or making short trips I can stick to the proper spaces between the meals. Today I went on my first 'big' trip since I got sick to Costco about an hour away. I took snacks with me but everything was out of sequence. I am a little hungry tonight.
It's been a slow week. This bronchitis has kept me very tired. I am exhausted after my little trip today. Do I hear a note of impatience? I always do this when I begin to feel better. Can't wait for things to go faster. I feel weak. Especially first thing in the morning. My cardio will have to be a medium speed walk for 10 minutes with a sizeable rest afterward.
My sister flies in next week from Vancouver Island for two weeks. She is here to help me pack up items at my dad's to get the house ready to sell. It will be an emotional time.
On another not, my husband hunts with a group of friends each year, Last year we had a meal near the end of February with the game they had caught. This year the group came home empty handed. So we are gathering up bits and pieces from the freezers of many to put together a meal. There will be about 12 people at this meal. We are having venison Natchos as an app. A Greek casserole with a wonderful topping like you have on moussaka. I was thinking of porcupine meatballs a favourite from when I was a kid. The 'quills' are rice mixed into the meatball. Last year we had venison bourguignon and meatloaf with raisin sauce and pheasant in mustard sauce. If you have any ideas I would love to hear them.
