Back AGAIN, and again and again!!!

So much has transpired since I last posted in this group. Life is ever changing and for those of us who don't transition well, it can take a bit to re-establish balance. This has not changed, I've kept my heart health as the primary focus. A major part of that for me at this phase of my life has been stress management and taking stock in the things that add quality to my life.

At times that has meant cutting out some activity, getting more rest, and spending more time laughing with friends or crying on their shoulders. I look forward to reconnect with some of my favorite Spark Friends! Even when I haven't been on this site, I'm blessed to have had regular contact with the people I meet here through Facebook and have meed several in person.

This month is heart health awareness month and that was one of the first topics I blogged about here .

I hope you know your family's heart health risk and get your blood work done so you know your cholesterol, HDL & LDL. It's also important to know your blood pressure and work to keep it in a healthy range.

Be blessed, be awesome . . . be YOU!!!

I too have decided to commit. I am not even saying recommit because I don't think I have for more than a few months here or there!

You are such an inspiration! I've been out of fitness loop a couple years...trouble exercising...found out I have asthma. I'm starting again with meds. BP is in check.

Thank you for encouragement and keeping in touch!! emoticon

hi sashi buri desu ne! (long time no see). Good to hear from you again. My blood pressure is fine, but my younger sister did have triple bypass surgery last year. I just had bilateral total knee replacement just before New Year's-not back to work yet. I lost 7 kilos since getting out of the hospital (probably a lot was water from all the swelling which would mean that part of that was actually lost eating low sodium Japanese hospital food minus the pork and shellfish).

We can do this ladies!!! I've put on a little weight over the past two years that I'd like to shed. It is coming off, ever so slowly this time. But the most important part is my long term health and having a healthy blood pressure is one of those things worth pursuing!

Good to take note....I developed heart valve issues in the last two years-didn't think it would happen to me & I'd been active, but family history and BP that wasn't controlled well with meds is likely the cause...SO, back to trying to lose the weight-AGAIN, and keep it off this time with healthier choices! Welcome Back!!! emoticon

I'm trying to lose weight for my heart health too. Heart disease is strong in my family and I don't choose to go there! It's not all about looking good. Health comes first!
