Its a conspiracy

I've been weighing myself daily. I know my weight with fluctuate but I just wanted to see what was going on.

And all week my weight has been creeping back up! I swear its my scale plotting for me to have a higher weight on weigh in day.

Seriously though, I have no idea why this happens. I don't see any trends in my diet or exercise routine that would cause this. My sodium intake hasn't gone up. I haven't started any new exercise.

if this continues, I'm changing my weigh in day to Wednesdays, because that seems to be my lowest weight each week. emoticon

I know as long as my weight is going down over time (weeks and months) that is what really matters. But it bugs me.

But I'm working on letting it go.

    I'm with you there. We all want the lowest weight on Saturday when we post our official weight for the challenge. Mine is lowest on Friday and bounces up a little by Saturday. It still should be lower than last Saturday. I figure the good Friday weight will show up the next week and I'll build on that.

    Make sure you look at non scale achievements too. How do your clothes fit? How do you feel?

    My scale hates me. I'm also fairly certain it's possessed. I can get on 3 times back to back and it gives me a different weight each time. I think it runs on the law of averages or something. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    My weight is always lowest a few days before my period, then slowly climbs back up until ovulation before dropping again. Are you recording your weights and comparing them to your menstrual cycle? This may help you see a pattern. Good luck!

    The hardest thing for me to do was give up the scale. I weigh myself once/month and I've gained weight since I've added strength training to my routine, but my clothes fit looser and I'm down a size. Be patient, it took time to put the weight on, it'll take time to rid it - the healthy way.

    Don't weigh yourself every day...and watch your cycle as women fluctuate all the time..go by the way your close fit...Good Luck!
