Half hearted effort

Still watching. Still tracking food. Still walking. Still drinking water. But my food is more to the high end of my calorie spectrum than it was in the beginning. Today my calories hit 1500. Gotta watch that. I've lost a little over 35 lbs. total since 10-20-14. That's only 4 lbs. since my last blog on 1-20-15. Gotta step it up.
On the brighter side, I am doing my 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. I've been walking a steady 3 mph. That may not seem fast or far, but it is for me. Did I ever mention that I had a stress test January a year ago? I couldn't keep up with it, panicked & jumped off the treadmill (onto the sides) at the 4 minute mark. So my 3 mph for 30 minutes is quite an accomplishment for me.
Hey, I have noticed something. My belly is my biggest problem area. But I've noticed that clothes are fitting me differently ... not quite so tight across the belly ... could the walking be doing this? I just googled (and I quote) "can walking get rid of belly fat" ... gonna read up on this.
