I'm off to a slow start for February. Watched the Superbowl on Sunday night -- the only time I watch football. It was an exciting game. Completely forgot about my new goal to deliberately move my body. Oops. And I didn't get nearly enough sleep, for various reasons.
Monday was difficult. I was tired and having some issues at home. I chose stair climbing as my body movement, so that was okay. But a colleague of mine was laid off. We have the same title, and our jobs overlapped a little. It was quite unexpected and I have to say it shook me up a bit. He worked really hard and in some ways, I'm surprised I wasn't the one to be let go. But everything happens for a reason, so I trust that it was meant to be.
Tuesday -- again, no deliberate movement of my body. If I don't have something planned, I tend to forget, so that's something I'll need to change.
Today I went to a yoga class, and boy I'm feeling it. Tomorrow is volleyball, so movement is covered at least for those two days.
I feel myself motivation waning a bit. I think I need to shake things up a little. Luckily, I'm on vacation to Orlando soon -- leaving Sunday. I'm hoping some better weather and time with family will perk me up a bit. When I get back, I will be scheduling more Desire Map workshops, which definitely get me fired up. Hmm. Maybe I just solved my own problem -- a Desire Map workshop once a month might be just the thing. Now to figure out how to advertise and get people through the door for the workshops. Anyone with ideas on that -- please shoot them my way!
