This past weekend was tough especially with Super Bowl Sunday. I only had one plate and no seconds with a ton of water. I tried to be good, but not as good as I had hope to be. So I am being extra careful this week.
Today is my normal rest day. I have two this week instead of my normal one. I also rested Sunday. I have been enjoying the fitnessblender workouts, but it feels like I might need to add more to my workout than 20-30 minutes during the week. During the workouts, they do a lot of strength training and toning. I have upped my weights and beginning to see tone definition. I am also beginning to feel definition and muscles in my legs. So even tho, the scale has not been moving, I can see other changes.
I want to start trying to run again. Start the C25K program. I have in the past made it about half way through. Be nice to be able to run a 5k this summer and run a 10k by the end of the year.
Slowly changing up our diet. Adding in more fruit and vegetables and less processed food. However, it is always a challenge. Sometimes, the processed food is quick and easy. Need to work on trying to prep food better. We are using spark recipes a lot and that is helping. We also started a subscription to Eating Well. Hopefully we can figure something out to help out with meal planning.
