Welcome to SparkPeople. We are all here for the same reason, no matter what our personal story is. We are here to help each other to get to that healthy point we want to be in our lives. It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. I have found that changing things up is the way to start weight loss. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it. If you don't take care of yourself you can't take care of anyone else. You can do it! We are here to help! Welcome and get active on this site. emoticon

Maybe changing the way you see "exercise"... Going for a nice walk or dancing to your favorite music. Basically, doing something you love can become an activity that helps you achieve your goal. Small steps become big changes.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. See if you can find a way to get more activity into your day, even if it isn't the "exercise" you think you "should" be doing. Can you do an extra flight of stairs? Stand instead of sit for a few minutes? Take a relaxing walk instead of relaxing on the couch?

Small changes add up - good luck! emoticon
