Every time I think about how far I have come I get a bit frustrated with myself. I had lost the weight and I was happy... then what happened? I got comfortable... I got lazy...
So here I am again but this time with the experience of last time. My body is remembering everything... I am happier.
Zumba is amazing... today I had the best compliment from a lady who wanted me to move in front of her so she could follow me because "I know what I am doing"... little did she know that it has been only a month but my body just remembers... It felt amazing!
If you have not tried Zumba, it takes about 2-4 classes get the hang of it. Once you allow yourself to have fun, you have no idea how much you are working it! Well.. maybe the next day :)
Another benefit of Zumba is boost of confidence. Nobody is looking at you, trust me, they are all worried about themselves. All you need is to feel that you can do it and slowly but surely you will get there. You will feel that you will get confident and leave the class happy with yourself.
Next week I will try to go to a "Group Power" class, I have read and heard lots about the benefits of lifting weights so this class will definitely help. I had done it in the past but never committed to it as I have done with Zumba or Group Kick.
Feeling better today... working towards happiness long term...
