Today has been an awesome day! Last week we went on our hike and it was a blast, but it kicked my butt! I came home and before long was melting into the lazy boy hahaha. Today we went on our second Sunday Hike, and let me tell you. Complete 180 from last week. I came home feeling pumped and feeling good. We put down 3 miles with 600ft. of elevation gain. I decided since I was feeling so nice I would push mom in the chair and take her for a "walk" so she can get out and see the neighborhood. Nearly 6 miles later (5.86 to be exact) I found myself back at home. The strange part is my feet hurt............... (I mean come on im 450 lbs I'd be shocked if they didn't lmao) but I am not completely worn out like last week! So I input all my exercise into the fitness tracker and I realized something! I am 1 measly little mile and some change away from doing something I have not done in over 15 years, and never done for the sake of exercise. Walking 10 miles! Double Digits baby! I'm going for it, after dinner no matter how bad I may be feeling I am going to put the shoes back on and hit the pavement for 1.25 more little miles to hit 10 omg! Never thought I could do that a few weeks ago, but today is the day! It isnt going to be a regular thing (at least for some time) but to be able to do it really motivates me. Maybe im not as far gone as I thought I was. Maybe there is still a very fit fun adventurous motivated guy in here lol. I just have to stop smothering him with the fat lazy guy hahaha!
