Please take 20 minutes to watch the video below.
It is a talk by Michael Pollen, titled "How Cooking Can Change Your Life"
Pollen is the author of Omnivore's Dilemma and several other best selling books about our food.
It may be the most important 20 minutes of your day, or maybe even your life. Or maybe someone else's life, so pass it on.
It may be something you already know. Or something that you knew and forgot. But it bears repeating.
We need this information. And then we need to think about this information. And then we need to act on this information.
Grab a cup of coffee (percolated, not Keurig!!) and take notes.
I came away with:
1. Eat anything you want, but cook it yourself.
2. Companies create problems for you then offer to fix them.
3. When governments try to socially engineer change, we riot. When companies socially engineer change we call it marketing and eat it up...literally.
