A competition with my daughter
Monday, January 19, 2015
As I have mentioned in some previous posts my daughter and I were working with a nutritionist last year. We both had very good results. We were sleeping better, had more energy and our blood levels for vitamin levels etc. were excellent. Optimum nutrition over a period of nine months and we felt fantastic. I lost 30 pounds during that 6 months and 10 more over the next three. The nutritionist says that weight loss is a side effect of good nutrition.
Well what can I say. A tumultuous year for the both of us has brought us back very close to where we started.
My daughter has been working up to getting back to eating well and keeping a regular schedule. She also starts a new job tomorrow. She came over to my house to outline her program based on the last program the nutritionist had given her. As we discussed her program and her goals she suggested that I start back on my program as well. To keep on track we are to check in each night before we head to bed. So I shook on it.
Here is my program:
On arising a cup of hot water with fresh lemon juice. 10 000 units of B12 just before Breakfast. 2 digestive enzymes with each meal 3-4 litres of water per day
Meal 1: 1 slice of Ezekiel bread with tomato, 1-2 oz. smoked salmon
Meal 2: Vege shake- Spinach, lemon, ice and apple cider (Not heat treated)
Meal 3: 3 oz. chicken with steamed green beans or broccoli or yellow pepper or spinach salad 2.5 cups
Meal 4: Kiwi
Meal 5: 3 oz. chicken or turkey or flank steak with 1.5 cups of bean sprouts, zucchini, and green beans or broccoli and yellow pepper or zucchini and mushrooms
This is to get all my hormones and enzymes back into balance.
I will plan to do this program for 10 days. I see the nutritionist this Friday. She may tweek things a little.
