Time to buckle down

I have been trying Sparks on and off for a few years now. I have great success when I track and follow a regular workout routine. However, life got in the way and I would always quit.

Back around Christmas, my side of the family was talking about going to Hawaii for Christmas this year. That made me really want to jumpstart and work on losing weight again. Even though we are not going to go to Hawaii, I still would like to lose weight for Florida. I figured if I can lose about 8-10 pounds a month, I will be doing good.

Another wake up call was visiting a doctor last week. My blood pressure spiked up. Need to work on that. It is unusual because my last readings have been normal. So I am monitoring that. Need to get it back down. I think I know why it spiked because I did a lot of tv dinners and other processed food last semester for lunch. Now I am watching salt and heating "heart healthy" food.

I have also found a workout program I like. I ran across I really enjoy doing the videos. I feel like I have worked out and that I can do majority of the exercises. They always include modifications to the exercises.
