Sadly, I just wrote my request for early medical retirement. I hope I can adjust to this change in my life. I hate not being able to work. Because of my physical limitations, I also can no longer drive or walk short distances. However, I have set a goal to try to make healthier choices and to stay as active as I possibly can. I ask for prayers and support.

I had to quit working in 2008 for those same reasons; I understand how hard it is. It takes some time to get use to it also; it took me about 6 months to get use to the "new kind of normal" and not feel like I was on an extended vacation or a sick leave.
