Ladyhawkes' Detox on Daniel Plan for reference

I am keeping track of my calories even though I know that's not the point of the Daniel Plan. But I found I had my most success when I track food. This is my list so far, I incorporated leftovers into subbing meals, to help with cooking time and dollars. Still plan on cooking things I skipped over just further down the line.

My Daniel Plan 10 day Detox Started Jan. 2 2014

Day 1
Breakfast:
1 c. hot water with half squeezed lemon, 1 c. unsweetened coconut milk steamed with 1 sugarfree chia tea bag.

2 egg omelet with 2 TBL. fresh basil, 1/4c.zuccini, .50 cup diced red bell pepper, 1 TBL. chopped sweet onion, 2 big spinach leaves chopped, cook all the veggies in 1 tsp coconut oil, then add eggs, then top eggs with.50 avocado sliced.

Looking forward to weighing and measuring Sunday morning, not matter what the scale says I'm determined to rejoice. I know I have gotten some things under . control in the last 10 days, both physically and spiritually and it's a great jump off to better lifestyle. Looking foreward to the next 40 days.

There were a few recipes that just weren't up my alley and I did sub a few things but felt it was all in line with Detox plan. I had a slight withdrawal from Caffenine, but will only add back one cup of coffee and continue to drink green tea unless eating out at restaurants where I will drink regular tea. I noticed a 95 percent decrease in stomach issues, though I did notice I do have trouble with the bean family and will need to add beano to those dishes and see if that helps. Can't wait for Sunday to make some more observations.

RESULTS: FYI, I did eat out 3x during the 10 days with no problems. Woke up to my weigh and measure morning after 10 days on the Daniel Detox Plan. First let me give God the Glory, because for the first time in all of my dieting experience, I had very little trouble with hunger or defeat.....not that I didn't have some temptation but I was truly able to FOCUS and PRAY and come on this board and get through those times. I also want to thank God for giving me such a supportive husband and son who have seen their own victories this week. Okay here it is......I lost 22 INCHES and 12.1 LBS! I had lost 2 before starting Daniel Plan but the 10 came from my detox.....So looking forward to the rest of this journey. I know it will slow down but what a great jumping off point, thank you Lord. Praying each of you find your own successes and are grateful for the success he gives you.
