Goals for BLC - Jan 2015-March 2015

Why I want to lose weight and get fit:
I had gotten down within 20 pounds of my goal weight, and when I went on a cruise last year I started letting things get out of control with my eating. Since then (June 2014) I have put on almost 20 pounds. Each year I say I want to reach my goal, and I am ready to make the necessary changes to make that happen.

What are my BLC goals - I would like to lose 15 pound in the next 12 weeks, which I believe is doable. I will do my fitness tests and hope to improve on those during those 12 weeks. I want to do one 5K (probably a Jeff Galloway virtual run). I have a pair of brown dress pants that are too tight right now that I would like to fit comfortably.

What actions will I take to get there? I eat mainly whole foods, but I tend to eat too many. I plan to log my calories faithfully. I use My Fitness Pal to do that as it is easy for me to use and has a lot of the foods I eat already in the tracker. I will strive to limit my nuts to 25g per day. I will plan my exercise for the week and make sure I have healthy foods in the house. I have not found that rewards are a motivator for me. The weight loss and fitting into my clothes comfortably is reward in itself.
