Five, Four, Three, Two, One...Take Two

Hi Sparkpeople,
I am in the last five days of my first year of Sparkpeople. I had gone into this effort at first with a bit of anger and grievance--thinking I had a heavier cross to bear than all of my naturally thin friends...I have sorted that out and written a blog or two about it.

I am using Sparkpeople's tools, including my goal board. I find positive affirmations reviewed daily are a big help toward consistency and perseverance over the long haul.

I am posting my goal board contents below:
Current Goals:
I will forge ahead daily with fitness and health as a priority over eating with abandon.
I will pass my annual physical.

Completed Goal:
I am SCUBA open water certified.

Current Action Steps:
I will track my daily calories and fitness efforts.

Current Motivators:
I want to live!
I love the taste of food, but I love the taste of life even better!

To all of the new/returning Sparkpeople, just keep logging on and clicking your login points wheel. Keep tracking. Keep posting to these boards. Use your goal board. Keep showing up.

Year one ends for me in five days. I am in such a better mindset to start year two at Sparkpeople. Instead of grievance and anger, I am filled with joy, gratitude, and conviction. Sparkpeople works!
