Looking Ahead to 2015
Wednesday, January 07, 2015
2014 was off to a hobble with a pacemaker install and blood thinner jitters scaring me off the bike until June...although it certainly picked up steam with an AWESOME self-supported tour through the Catskill Mountains in September.
I am looking forward to a SPARKIN' 2015 now that I'm comfortably taking my blood thinner with no restrictions from my doc other than any reasonable blood-thinner precautions.
While I don't have any big events planned as yet I'm hopeful that opportunities for further self-supported travels on my bike will be forthcoming! Also this may be the year I tackle the FANY ride, 500 miles across New York!
I've backslid through the holidays, but am back to fully Sparkin' anew, looking to reclaim my low of 207 and perhaps achieve what I "think" may be my goal weight of 200. However, whether or not this will be the lowest sustainable weight for myself remains to be seen.
There are many other personal changes brewing for me and I'm anticipating that 2015 will be one of the most transformative years of my life.
