Not exercising because of the flu

Well things have changed from the dark days. I am much more positive and having lost quite a bit of weight helped. However, I have been having a hard time getting past my initial 45 pound weight loss to my goal. I know that 20 pound loss will happen, but I really wanted to get the new year off to a great start. Unfortunately, I have to accept that I have the flu. I cannot wait to exercise again. That might sound kinda weird, but I feel like I am tied down, just waiting to spread my wings again. So please send me some encouragement to wait till I am fully recovered to back on my Treadclimber. :)

    Feeling under the weather & not being able to be active when you want to sucks! I was feeling great about being active again and then hurt my knee on the weekend. I could tell the last night before my workout that it wasn't 100%, so I did a seated cardio video for part of it thinking that would allow me to keep from getting sidelined - wrong! :( I was laid up Sunday totally and partly yesterday. I'm thinking I'll try to do 10min today though.

    I hope that you get over the flu quickly and have some time to practice self-care without worrying too much about being sick! Maybe you could use the time to meal plan or look at delicious new recipes? You've got this and it sound like you're going to be jazzed to get back at it as soon as you can! Giv'er!
