Happy New Year

So yeah... the last two weeks I have been on vacation. From work and from my "journey". I gained about 5 pounds. Hoping some of that is water. I am feeling a little guilty about the bad eating but mostly I feel bad because I let down my new BL Team big time. I am sorry guys.

The good news is that I do not feel like I have in the past where my "mojo" has disappeared. I feel like I am ready to get back to work and lose the next 25 lbs. I am logging my food today. I will exercise today.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and we are all rip roaring and ready to go in 2015! Lets do this!

    I have vacation coming up and trying to strategize how I can stay the same or lose. I am brining my bike and weights with me. I also have a workout on my iPad that I can do even if I do not have wifi.

    I understand how it feels to think you've let someone down, let alone a whole team. Trust me, we all have our trials and tribulations, and there has been a time in all of our lives that we did not do what we set out to. What's important is that you are not giving up and you are aware of where things went wrong. That's a great start. Of course we all want to succeed, and as a team we want to be strong and do well. I think our biggest team expectation is to do our best, to stick with it and to support one another. When we have a tough time....don't turn away, stay and work it out. That's the best any of us can do. Soooooooooooo let's do this girl! I struggle too.....but I know we will get it if we stick with it!

    I can relate to your post- especially about letting the BL team down. (I am Indigo). I think we both have great can do attitudes now, and will both rock 2015.

    This is a tough time of year to lose weight. Even maintaining is difficult enough. Give yourself a break and go from here. You didn't let anyone down. We all have rough weeks.

    2015 is a New Year, a New Start. Put the last couple of weeks behind you, face forward, and do your best!

    High five for keeping your mojo alive! I bet just about everyone making healthy lifestyle choices went off track during the holidays with the marathon of super yummy food and drinks, but not all get back on track so quickly!

    I think you and I are in exactly the same spot, including mentally!! This isn't starting OVER for us, its just getting back into what were were doing only ~14 days and a few holiday challenges ago. It feels nice to me that, while I do have some regret of losing that progress I had slightly, that its not the same as having to start OVER like I did when I showed back up after a year or more of letting everything go.
    2-3 weeks? No big deal, if we get back in it now! yay! :D

    Oh, and I'm with you on the water weight. I historically used to always lose a couple lbs when I got back into a few days of doing things right after a period of being off it, though that was before going on hormonal birth control. We'll see what the scale tells us! I have hope for you! :)

    I lost weight over the holidays. Mind you, I couldn't afford to go home this year so I basically spent the entire time alone here with my cat in a city where I don't really know anyone well enough to want to spend the holidays with them. Going to the gym was a way to help the holidays go by faster. I would rather have gone home and fallen off the wagon like everyone else. I'll be home for Easter break. My sister is coming too. It will be like SP armageddon.

    Was just thinking of you today & here you are!
    Don't beat yourself up over the gain. It's the holidays and most of us tend to go off track and gain... I am waiting til Friday to get back on the scale!!!

    I tracked and was here every day and I gained weight over the holidays, too! We can do this!!!
