In my new health plan Sunday has been earmarked as a day of rest, rest from the gym that is. It not a day to make sure that I am actively moving or getting at least 10,000 steps a day. Its supposed to be the day where I plan my week.
Planning my week is another one of my new year resolutions. I have become terribly disorganized over the years and have become more of a deal-with-it-in-the-moment type of girl. But, now that I have just started my own Etsy business and blog, while still maintaining my regular 9-5, I find that I have to write things down more often to make sure that I can accomplish all that I need to.
Some of the things that I have to plan for are:
Weekly dinner plan for the family
Meals for myself to stay within my Spark People numbers
Make sure I walk at least 10,000 steps 6 days a week, usually walking 45 minutes during lunch and making up for it with the rest of my commute.
Schedule time to go to the gym on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday and Saturdays
Schedule time to:
work on products for my Etsy store
plan and write posts for my blog as well as photograph and make images for it
promote both the store and the blog on social media sites
schedule time to work on the back end of the blog to make sure everything is running
Schedule time throughout the day to track my progress and to blog on SP
purchase materials for my shop
If you find that you are not able to keep up with all that you need to do try writing it down in your agenda and schedule it! Make sure you are making time to stay on top of your tracking and that you are working out consistently every week! It is very easy to let other things stand in our way but by doing this we are only sabotaging ourselves.
Since I am actually through with planning for this week... time to finish the current project for the store before bed!
