New Beginnings

What I love most about the New Year are the chances for new beginnings. I have not been active on SP for some time but have never forgotten this site of forgotten all the people I have met through here. Even so I have not been active here, I have been trying to change my life style off and on through the last two years. I have learned a lot through the ups and downs and one of those is that I know I cannot expect to be perfect and do everything right all the time. That being said I plan to start over, embrace the chances and challenges and cut myself some slack when I mess up! I hope to get back to chatting with some old friends and meeting some new ones. I have gained more weight and am now at my highest weight, so some goals must be made. Question....has anyone heard of the "Trim Healthy Momma" way of eating and if so, would love to hear from anyone who is doing this plan. Just want to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2015!

    I'm actually on THM. :) I lost a lot of weight when I first started. After a short time, I fell off to my sugar addiction again and went back to the regular "calorie in, calorie out" way of thinking. The pounds still kept coming or didn't come off. I've regained my composure and determination and started the program again (this is my third week) and I've already lost 15 pounds. Yep.. 15 pounds! I'm not starving myself, I eat fats and carbs - just not at the same meal and stay within the guidelines. I'm actually not even exercising at the moment due to an injury. :)

    It's so good to see you on SP! You've been missed! emoticon I've not heard of trim healthy momma...I'm curious though and going to go look it up! I think learning to accept my failure without it wrecking my whole plan has definitely something I've struggled with. emoticon
